Decision Fatigue

When decisions stop being possible — and the consequences keep growing

I work with individuals and teams who are overloaded with decisions, postpone key moves, and operate in a constant state of “not yet.”

Decision fatigue won’t disappear on its own. It only ends when you make a decision.

Your work can drain you faster than you think — not because it’s difficult, but because every day you carry too many unresolved decisions and keep telling yourself it’s “just pressure.”

Either you bring order to your decisions now, or decision chaos will start managing you later. The choice is not about rest. The choice is about closing what has been left open for far too long.

Briefly. Truly. No nonsense. Only what works.

Hello, my name is Kasia Sytniewska

I started exactly where many of the people I work with today are — in the middle of decisions that had to be made every day: quickly, under pressure, and with real consequences.

I have been working in the HR field for over 15 years.

I am an engineer by education, and for the past 18 years I have lived and worked in the Netherlands in an international environment, where people, organizational, and business decisions rarely come with “perfect” conditions.

Over the years, I’ve seen the same pattern:
people don’t burn out because they are not resilient enough.
They burn out because they function too long in a state of indecision — postponing choices, carrying responsibility, and leaving everything “for later.”

Today I work with individuals and teams who are stuck in decision overload. I help them bring structure to their decisions, clarify responsibility, and close what has been left open for too long — without motivational talk, without dragging out processes, and without pretending it will “solve itself.”

My work is not about supporting endless development.
It is about restoring the ability to decide — where decisions have stopped being possible.

Who am I?

I specialize in working with decision fatigue — a state in which responsibility overload and a lack of decision closure lead to exhaustion, chaos, and reduced effectiveness.

I have been working in the HR field for over 15 years. I am an engineer by education and have been professionally active in the Netherlands for 18 years, in an international environment where people and organizational decisions carry real business consequences.

I help individuals and teams regain decision clarity, structure responsibility, and close decisions that have been left unresolved for too long.

I don’t motivate people to simply endure — I work with concrete decisions and their consequences.

What I'm doing?

I help people who feel that something in their work has stopped working — but no longer know how to decide clearly what comes next.

I work with people who:

  • are stuck in roles, projects, or organizations that exhaust them,
  • operate under constant pressure and responsibility,
  • have long known that change is needed, but keep postponing the decision.

In these situations, the problem isn’t a lack of skills or courage.
The problem is decision overload — choices that were never properly closed.

I support people in:

  • organizing decision chaos,
  • regaining clarity on what truly requires a decision and what doesn’t,
  • separating responsibility from a sense of obligation,
  • closing stages that have already burned out,
  • making decisions without paralysis, pressure, or constant second-guessing.

I don’t guide people toward “self-discovery.”

I guide them toward concrete choices that restore agency, energy, and a sense of control. Work doesn’t have to be draining — but it also doesn’t change on its own just because you “hold on a little longer.”

I don’t offer quick fixes or motivational slogans.

I create a space where decisions can finally be made and properly closed — instead of hanging unresolved in the background. This is where decision fatigue truly ends.

I accompany you through the process of organizing your decisions and regaining control over what comes next.

My values

Clarity instead of chaos
I believe that overload and burnout aren’t caused by a lack of strength, but by a lack of clarity. That’s why in my work I always organize what is unclear, scattered, or postponed.

Decisions instead of drawn-out processes
I don’t postpone difficult topics for a “better moment.” I work so that decisions can be made and properly closed — without constantly returning to the same point.

Responsibility instead of pressure
I separate real responsibility from the sense of obligation and pressure. It’s the mixing of these that most often leads to decision fatigue.

Practicality instead of theory
I focus on what has real consequences at work and within the organization. No motivational slogans, no solutions that sound good but don’t actually work in practice.

Wondering what makes me stand out?

What sets me apart is a way of working that organizes situations instead of complicating them.

I don’t add more tools or narratives where the real problem is a lack of resolution.

I step into the moments when decisions start to weigh more than the challenges themselves.

I work so that responsibility is clear and the next steps are actionable.

This approach works where real decisions are needed — not more analysis.

1.

Personalized work focused on real decisions

Nie pracuję na abstrakcyjnych celach ani „wizjach kariery”.
Pracujemy na konkretnych decyzjach, które stoją teraz – w pracy, roli, zespole, projekcie czy karierze.

Każdy proces dopasowuję do Twojej sytuacji decyzyjnej:

  • co wymaga decyzji,
  • kto jest odpowiedzialny,
  • co trzeba domknąć,
  • co można odłożyć lub zakończyć.

Celem nie jest plan idealny, lecz klarowny i wykonalny kierunek działania.

2.

Working on decision-making instead of “self-confidence”

I don’t build self-confidence through motivation.
I build it through making and closing decisions.

Together, we identify:

  • where decisions are being postponed,
  • where responsibility is unclear,
  • where decision paralysis is blocking action.

I provide structures and tools that enable decision-making without overload, pressure, or constant second-guessing.

3.

A practical, hands-on approach to career and work

I don’t use holistic concepts that are disconnected from organizational realities.
I combine HR experience with the decision-making process so that career work has real operational consequences.

I focus on:

  •  responsibility,
  • role structure,
  • closing stages,
  • moving on to the next decisions without chaos.

This isn’t “developmental” coaching. It’s decision-focused work with real professional impact.

Not everything requires more time.
Some things require a decision.

I don't ask for belief. I show results.
